Kamihime Project R Beginners Guide

Overview:

To be very simple, Kamihime Project is a supply management game. To break it down the player has 3 resources: playtime, the passage of actual time, and money(money spent on the actual game). Each resource overall has every diminishing value and your best strategy will be to strike a perfect balance between all three. With this guide I will try to help new players make the best decisions when it comes to using resources leaving you with the options of how much of each to actually invest in the long run

A basic list of in game resources:

1. AP: Ap is obtained by the natural passage of time and is used to start battles of different and variable kinds. The maximum limit of AP you get is determined directly by your player rank. You can also cash in elixirs recieved as rewards from completing various missions. You also have the much more inefficient option of trading jewels and money for elixirs.

2. BP: Also mainly obtained over tha natural passage of time and can be used to get into raid Battles. You can get more BP by trading seed consumables.

3. Gems: You generally usually obtain gems from certain events and also of course gem quests hence the name. Gems have a wide use but are mainly used to enhance your weapons and accessories.

4. Jewels: Jewels expand your inventory and allow you to buy various Gatcha Rolls. When you first start the game as a new player you are rewarded 6k jewels. I reccomend spending this initial amount on Gatcha.

5. Star Coins: This is the flagship main currency of this game.

Kamihime Gaming Fundamentals:

Two things to know:

Overdrive Meter: The orange orbs that accumulate as the enemy is attacking. When this fills up, your opponent can use a powerful overdrive on the next turn.

Rage Meter: As the enemy boss takes damage there is an orange colored bar that fills up. Once this bar fills up completely your enemy will enter a state of rage which will change the way he attacks.

Buff And Debuffs:

The following is a list of stat buffs and debuffs. You can stack buffs from different classes but not from the same class.

1. Class A: Usually affects a single stat

2. Class B: Usually affects multiple stats

3. Class C: Rare and is mostly limited to particular SSR Kamihime

4. Elemental: Affects damage done to or by a specific element

5. Cumulative: Pertains to skills with shortened CD's and small effects and these can stack with themselves to the given specified amount

How do buffs and debuffs stack?

1. Buffs and debuffs of different classes stack

2. Stronger buffs/debuffs overwrite weaker buffs/debuffs of the same class while weaker buffs miss.

Basic Game strategy

First off, assault skill and related effects give large character attack bonuses to characters of the matching element, and these bonuses are multiplied by the elemental attack bonuses granted by the most valued eidolons, which are typically mono or dual element. These bonuses are very important to damage output and so having fewer than 4 same element characters in a team of 5 for example is not usually recommended except in special circumstances.

One very strong team is always more effective than 6 mediocre teams

While leveraging elemental advantage can be effective in early and much later endgame scenarios, focusing resources on a single element is typically the quickest way to progress into ultimate and ragnarok content. A well balanced team combines adequate healing, a variety of essential debuffs, and strong spike damage. Players typically wont have the necessary variety of kamihime to build such a team for every element.

Farming for one element is easier

If you're farming for only one element, that means you can take it easy the rest of the time and for example save your elixirs and consumables for when they're needed.

Enhance your best team and use it for most content

This means prioritizing that element for weapon farming. Weapon skill leveling is the main bottleneck, as skill fodder is fairly scarce and it takes several months to max the skill levels of an entire grid.

Cover and hide your weakness with a secondary element

All elements are are somewhat weak against the same element, as debuff accuracy is reduced. Cover this weakness by raising a secondary team to counter the element that counters your primary element. Because this team will typically have elemental advantage I will be as effective as your primary team with only a fraction of the invested resources.

Building a team that is perfectly balanced

Skills are the main factor that distinguish desirable Kamihime

SSR and SR Kamihime have 3 available skills, while R's have 2. Higher rarity Kamihime generally have more potent skills.

Higher rarity Kamihime also have higher burst multipliers: 5x for SSR, 3.5x for SR, and 2.5x for R. This is a lesser consideration but also important for spike damage.

Higher rarity Kamihime have higher base stats. However, the differences in a maxed team are overshadowed by equipment effects.

Conclusion

With all of the above information a new player should be able to use this guide as a base to get a great start in this very intricate game. Just remember a balanced team and a good strategy is the most important thing you can shoot for when just starting and before you know it you will dominate.

BONUS!

How to get strong quickly!!!!! AND BONUS TIPS!!

A stronger team is more efficient

Clearing higher difficulty content gives much better rewards, especially in solo content, therefore your goal should be to get stronger as quickly as possible to clear expert and ultimate difficulties in advent events.

Focus on one element for weapon grid upgrades

You have limited resources. Switching between d=different element teams to make use of elemental advantage can be effective early on, but you can use the same weapon grid for each team. Focusing your resources on one element will make the latter part of the game much easier.

R weapons and SR secondary eidolons aren't worth investing in

You'll be getting rid of these quickly. Instead, invest in off-element SR weapons or SSR eidolons instead.
